Notes
The first installment in a comprehensive series detailing the multifaceted genre of Metal.
Before Sabbath, before Priest, before Maiden, there were bands like Bitter Creek, Blue Cheer, and Uriah Heep who lay the sinister groundwork on which the megalithic altar of Metal would one day be built. Some were merely over-driven psych bands, others were astonishing innovators years ahead of their time, but all rocked with a drive and a fury that would inspire future bands for decades to come.

Holy cow. I'm two songs in and blown away. My exposure to pre-80s-era rock has regrettably been pretty mainstream. I didn't even know Pink Floyd could get that NASTY. Thanks!
