a 90's indie rock and pop timecapsule, part 1. this is by no means a definitive list, just some songs that i loved at the time and still connect with to this day. 20 tracks including music by the dismemberment plan, slint and the wrens. download here: http://www.mediafire.com/?7ixcuefj9rpzec6

This mix is simply incredible. I searched generically for "Chavez", and when I saw the Juno lyrics titling this mix I figured you were two for two. Wow. Your sensibility in crafting this mix is impressive.

You're very welcome. I've been perusing your other dream pop mixes - I'm very impressed. Is there any hope of a Mediafire link for this 90's mix?

if i was a college kid during the 90s, i could see myself listening to these bands haha... but some "new" ones for me (pretty much this whole playlist) i really liked were alison's halo (i have a thing for female vocalists in bands), the wrens, the dismemberment plan, lilys, east river pipe, rocketship. Slint reminds me of this French band, Cheveu, because of the whole talking-in-a-song.
